LADAKH : GOVT IS PLANNING TO BOOST TRAVEL INDUSTRY IN INDIA’S NEWEST UT(union territory)
ladhak has been declared as a union territory by the PM MODI govt and this offers an opportunity for the devlopement of tourism in the region.
The Minister,while talking about LADHAK tourism ,reportedly said that “govt is working on a number of tourism development of projects .the focus is to attract the large number of tourists.earlier ,the tourists had to camp,as the lodging facilities were limited.our focus is on improving the lodging and other important facilities for the tourist visiting ladhak,Also , there are plans to open a number of zoos”.
The govt is planning top develop facilities for a homestay in the monasteries which are present in almost all important parts of the region.
